Grant of $500 and grant of $1,000 to Utah individual artists residing in the Little Cottonwood Canyon for a broad range of artistic projects. Funding is intended to support the artistic endeavor of local residents working in disciplines such as crafts, fine arts, performing arts, literary arts, music, and visual arts.


  • Must be a project in the Arts including but not limited to: fine arts, performing arts, crafts, visual arts, literary arts, music, etc.
  • Must be for projects that are already in process or not yet begun.
  • Projects must be approved by all entities or agencies involved.
  • Winning applicant will be asked to give back to the community.  IE: presentation, event, project, volunteerism.
  • Artists must provide examples of their work.

Two grantees will be awarded - $1,000 and $500.

Term of Contract:

Project must be completed by April 1st the following year.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- Must be a Little Cottonwood community member. A community member is someone who lives, works or plays in LCC.

- Past recipients are no longer eligible for grant monies.
- Not available to employees of Alta Community Enrichment or Board members of Alta Community Enrichment.
- Not available for projects that are already completed.

Pre-Application Information:

- Deadline for applications is March 1st at 9:00 AM.
- All applicants will be notified approximately April 1st
