Envision Equity Grants enable educators to test creative new ideas and innovations, demonstrating exemplary teaching and learning. Applicants must be current NEA members.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations, educational organizations, tribal governments, and community development financial institutions for projects that benefit the Native American farming and ranching industries. Focus areas include agricultural education, advocacy services, technical support, and business assistance. Funds may be used for project support, general organizational support, scholarships, grants, lending programs, or capital expenditures.

Grants to USA courts, IHEs, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, individuals, and government agencies to address issues with the national court system. Applicants are required to submit a concept paper prior to submitting a full application. Funding is intended to address national court issues as they occur, and develop solutions to those problems.

Award to a USA, Canada, or International educator to recognize contributions to the field of elementary language arts education. The purpose of this program is to recognize an individual who has had a significant impact on the field of literacy, enhanced classroom practice, obtained national and/or international influence in literacy teaching and learning, and contributed a body of work that is compatible with the mission of NCTE.

Award to a USA or Canada English language arts teacher to honor teaching excellence. The award is intended to recognize a teacher of grades 6-8 who has inspired and motivated students and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The winning teacher will be honored at the Middle-Level Section Luncheon during the NCTE Annual Convention.

Awards of $2,500 and an award of $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International authors to recognize contributions to the field of Jewish literature. The award recipient will be honored for an outstanding work of nonfiction that explores modern Jewish thought and increases awareness of the meeting point of faith and modernity. Eligible themes include, but are not limited to, ethics, Jewish identity, antisemitism, and Jewish history.

Grants of $2,500, grants of $5,000, and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International early-career sports photographers to support career growth. In addition to funds, grant recipients will benefit from professional development opportunities, participate in a photography conference, and be eligible for a year-long mentorship.

Scholarships and in-kind support to USA individuals to pursue careers as secondary school science educators. The program is intended for recent graduates pursuing a career teaching high school chemistry. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, books, room and board, and other education-related expenses and are renewable for up to three years.

Scholarships are intended to help applicants pursue a master's degree in education or teacher certification in chemistry. In addition to the scholarship stipends, scholarship recipients will receive support and mentoring throughout their three-year teaching commitment.

Grants of up to $10,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for programs to help individuals gain employment in the food industry. Funding is intended to help expand existing programs, improve facilities, improve teaching, improve employer partnerships, and add certifications. The Foundation promotes the founder’s generosity and passion for cooking by supporting individuals who seek organizations that create pathways to success through culinary professionalism and technique.
