Grant Description
Opportunity for Utah leaders of nonprofit organizations serving low-income communities to join a professional development program. Participants will receive coaching, mentoring, and leadership development in board engagement, financial management, and strategic communication. Organizations must be focused on economic development or human services. Organizations must be located in Salt Lake County or Tooele County.

Invest in Success is a leadership development initiative designed to educate and empower emerging nonprofit leaders. Through this initiative, participants receive intensive coaching and mentoring in essential leadership skills such as board engagement, strategic communication, and financial management.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit executives selected to participate in the program should work in organizations that meet the following criteria:
- Must serve in a management level position of a Utah-based 501(c)(3). Preference will be given to organizations in Salt Lake and Tooele counties.
- Organization must serve a CRA-eligible (low-income) community or population, including Native Americans.
- Must have a strong desire to build skills in order to help the organization become more effective, sustainable and resilient.
- Must face significant barriers of time or discretionary funds to access other professional development opportunities.

Pre-Application Information
Applications for the 2024 Salt Lake City initiative open January 8th and will close on February 16th at Noon.
