Grants averaging $50,000 to USA nonprofit hospitals to purchase new equipment for neonatal intensive care units. Applicants must demonstrate that there is a specific need or purpose for the neonatal equipment. Qualified hospitals must have an intensive care neonatal unit in order to apply.

If you represent a hospital and would like to apply for a grant, please know that your hospital must:
- Be a nonprofit hospital in the United States (not one of the territories)
- Have an intensive care neonatal unit
- Wait one year after receiving a Brave Beginnings grant to reapply (i.e. cannot have received a Brave Beginnings or Will Rogers Institute grant in the previous year)
- Demonstrate a need for the neonatal equipment requested
- Submit a request and have a specific purpose for the grant
Deadline for applications is January 31, 2019
The grant cycle runs from October 1st – January 31st with the recipients typically announced in March.
